WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL TO MONGOLIA
Between May to September is the best season. May is a little bit windy, but the foliage is by now turning green and animals graze peacefully with their young- a sure sign that the Mongolians have successfully passed another harsh winter. June, July and August are peak season. July and August are also the wettest months of the year, but be assured, our climate is such that you will still have many sunny days at this time. The Mongolian winter is cold, but, if you would like to travel to Mongolia for winter you can enjoy dog sledding tour and many interesting winter events such as Ice festival, Camel festival and Golden eagle festivals.
