DAY 1. ULAANBAATAR /L,D/

Pick up you at airport, guide make warmest greetings for you and start wonderful trip. Drive to “Chinggisiin Khuree” tourist camp. Name of this camp means “Resident of Chinggis Khaan” and there is museum with costumes, weapons and armory. Have a lunch in this camp. Restaurant was decorated with skin of bear and leopard, furnished handmade and embroidered felt craft. Camp complex was built as XIII century theme. Traditional Mongolian and international dishes are served in the restaurant. Many famous people of the world have visited to this camp like His Holiness Dalai lama and so on. 

After lunch drive to Ulaanbaatar and have a half day city tour which is included Gandan monastery and Sukhbaatar square. The Gandan is the center of Mongolian Buddhism and the only working monastery during the entire communist period. It contains a statue of Megjid-Janraiseg (Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara - called Chenrezig in Tibetan) by 26.5 meters high.

Sukhbaatar Square is the central square of Mongolia's capital Ulaanbaatar. The official name was changed in 2013 in honor of Chinggis Khaan. Here you will see the Government Palace, a bronze colonnade monument to Chinggis Khaan, Mongolian stock exchange building, State Ballet and Opera House, Gallery and a number of other buildings. Beautiful Parliament building and a huge monument to Genghis Khaan, surrounded by skyscrapers, are an interesting contrast to the historic past and the present of the country. 

Have a dinner at restaurant then check in hotel and relax. 

DAY 2. FLY TO ULGII TOWN – ALTAI TAVAN BOGD NATIONAL PARK /B,L,D/

Local team will meet at the airport. The Bayan- Ulgii province is famous for the magnificent Altai Mountains and nomadic eagle hunters. Drive to Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Arrive at White River valley which is South entrance of the National Park. Overnight in tent.

DAY 3. POTANIN GLACIER  /B,L,D/

After having breakfast, we will pack all baggage and go up to the base camp. All baggage will be transported by camels, and local herders will support us with their camels and horses. Enjoy your horse trekking. Before the horse ride our guide will explain some instructions of local horses, just to be safe. The Base camp is one of the most beautiful camping sites in Mongolia. Here you have an opportunity to enjoy a panoramic view of the Altai Mountains which includes the highest peak and Potanin glacier.

DAY 4.  MALCHIN PEAK  /B,L,D/

The name of Altai Tavan Bogd means “Saint Five Peaks” and Malchin peak is the lowest one. And it is possible to climb up without any special climbing equipment.

The mountain is also famous for it is located right on the borderline between Russia and Mongolia.

Enjoy the breathtaking view of the surrounding. But, in case of bad weather, we can offer you to explore a Potanin glacier as an alternative option. Back to the base camp.

DAY 5.  OIGOR LAKE  /B,L,D/

This is the north entrance of the national park. All baggage will be transported by camels. Total trekking takes around 4 hours. Arrive at Oigor valley where the vehicles will be waiting for you.

Switch to the cars and drive to nomadic eagle hunter’s family. Explore more about eagle hunting cultures and ancient traditions of nomads. Drive further to Olgii and transfer to hotel. Dinner at the restaurant.

DAY 6. ULAANBAATAR  /B,L,D/

After breakfast, we will drive back to Ulgii then fly back to Ulaanbaatar. Overnight in the hotel.

DAY 7.  MONGOL NOMADIC TOURIST COMPLEX /B,L,D/

After breakfast time, we will drive to Mongol Nomadic complex. Overnight in the hotel.

DAY 8.  ULAANBAATAR /B,L,D/

This day you will have city tour, traditional performance and shopping for souvenirs

DAY 9.  DEPARTURE /B/
